About me

Having graduated from Camberwell almost two years ago, I have pursued interests and skills I developed at college where I was part of a group producing a monthly publication, helped an artists collective realise a project and (of course) produced my own work. My course assessed the ability of students to devise a scheme of work, to carry out research, execute the work, devise a scheme for assessment, and finally assess our successes and suggest future avenues. These skills are transferable to all working situations, and have given me confidence in my ability to tackle new areas of work and to constantly learn and improve myself professionally.

I am naturally gregarious and have strong communication skills, which I have developed in relation to customer service through my first jobs in shops and bars; however, having developed my professional aspirations, I am keen to use my skills for the benefit of the art community and the wider community. I have had experience in this field too: through working with various groups to organise events and exhibitions I am practiced at liaison with artists and organisations in both a professional and a more relaxed capacity.

In a team, I work well in support of others, taking instruction well and working to a high standard. I am also pragmatic and will find opportunities for improvement or development of a project or working system; acting on my own initiative or through discussion as appropriate.
