About me
I launched Tim Vasvi Photography in 2011 with a focus on Weddings, Portraits and Life events. I have captured a number of these in addition to various home based photography sessions, namely family portraits with adults and children. Following on from this I have captured children's portraits for a private nursery. Working with children required patience and the ability to capture a shot quickly when the timing is right. I also love the challenge of shooting on location in all weather conditions and relish the opportunity to use my Profoto lighting equipment for creative and dramatic effects.
Owing to the increasing amount of corporate based photography jobs, I needed a new brand to distinguish and separate these areas from the personal nature of Tim Vasvi Photography. CAT-5 Studios was set up to handle the non-personal aspects of my photography such as Corporate Events, Product and Automotive. I shoot various events for the Council for Tall Buildings Urban Habitats (CTBUH) in the UK as well as regularly shooting corporate photos for Richmond and Towers Communications (RTC). My personable and friendly demeanour enables me to build and maintain relationships with clients with ease and this is vital for securing repeat business. In 2017 I shot a high profile fashion campaign for an international clothing brand which ran on billboards across Asia. I am used to shooting products, venue and food photography for numerous brands in the UK.
