About me

I am currently working as an IT Manager for a design and communications company based in central London. I look after a staff of 25 designers and typesetters using Macs and a few PC's. I maintain and administer the servers, network and firewall.

I am a conscientious hard worker and self-starter who enjoys fresh challenges and problem solving. I have excellent organisational, communication and management skills, with a strong creative ability.

My IT skills include system support for Mac OSX, OS9 and Windows XP and 2000 Server. I also provide hardware maintenance and support for Apple and Wintel including memory, processors, storage, power supplies.

I can also scan, retouch and colour correct digital files to a high quality.

I have provided support and training for technical and other staff in these software packages:

Adobe Creative Suite CS - CS3, Quark XPress, Adobe InCopy, Microsoft Office, Acrobat Pro.

I also have some experience of Flash, Dreamweaver, Fotostation, Final Cut, Apple Remote Desktop.

I am looking for another Mac based IT support position that can provide new challenges and experience. I want to expand my knowledge and skill set and am open to relocation in the UK.
