About me

Whether it be a big budget Hollywood effect, a beautifully crafted Glitch composition or an interactive AV installation, I'm fond of all things digital. I'm always keen to see what can be produced with digital kit and how to push the boundaries of current software and media.

I've always had a particular passion for film. Having studied sound design, composition, and video editing, I'm currently studying the use of Color Grading and its effect on the viewer. To develop my video production skills I'm following a self-directed study of The craft of Editing with Final Cut Pro and Color : Correcting and grading. To build on my software production skills I'm following a self-directed study of Xocde 3, focused around Cocoa and Core Animation.

During the summer, Hodder Educational Publisher employed me to produce the video and audio for two projects, Teach Yourself Your Evening Class: Basic Maths, and Teach Yourself Your Evening Class: Complementary Therapies. Both projects involved capturing a large amount of audio read from a script, captured on location. For Teach Yourself Your Evening Class: Complementary Therapies, I also produced a selection of instructional videos. Hodder Educational have said they will consider me for any further multimedia projects.

Having completed my degree and a number of projects for a leading educational publishing house I am very keen to further my experience in the media industry and build a strong, personal portfolio.
