About me

I was born in Bath...um...a few years ago now. At an early age I could be found running around the fields and woods nearby excitedly taking pictures of random things (I am sure at the time I felt they were well considered subject matter) on my parents little film powered point and shoot camera. Not long after these early forays in to condensing the world in to a viewfinder I discovered that a world leading photographic authority, The Royal Photographic Society, had its HQ in the city centre of Bath, they had exhibitions, they had a specialist bookshop and most exciting of all they had darkrooms downstairs and courses to learn how to use them.

Many years later and the passion has not subsided, though I haven't been in a darkroom for a while now. These days I am shooting catalogues for fashion brands, commissions for advertising agencies and assignments for glossy magazines. I'm based from a lovely little photographic studio in beautiful english countryside near Bath though just as likely to be found shooting around Bristol, London or on a beach in Cornwall. I love my job, I love the challenge and I love playing with light. I hope this shows in my work.
