About me

I'm a final year Journalism student due to graduate with a first class degree in June. I'm currently an Editor at e-magazine HerUni.com and with a range of freelancing experience, my skills are in the online content, editing and raising brand awareness areas. When I'm not writing, I love learning Japanese and Norwegian, travelling and running my book club. My blog has a personal, anecdotal and humorous feel to it and has gained a sharp rise in followers in the last couple of months as I have begun to focus on travel and photography. Skills

I have a thorough understanding of the Microsoft Office suite and am familiar with InDesign and Photoshop. , I am very capable of writing under pressure and can adapt my writing style to suit the publication and audience., I'm very familar with handling and writing press releases., I have experience with raising brand awareness for products, I've had several editorial positions which included recruiting and assigning work to journslists, sub-editing, layout design, ensuring house style is met and communication with PR companies., I can use the teeline system at 60 words per minute and am a fast typist., I use social media tools, such as Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest, on a daily basis on both a personal and professional level.
