About me
I am a soon to be graduate of the Kingston School of Art's Fashion Design Degree. I started to specialise in knitwear and print design in my second year of studying because I love the creative freedom that comes from designing my own fabrics.
I am currently working on my Final Collection which has been one of the hardest but most rewarding projects I have worked on. I have learnt to trust in my own vision and creative abilities. Seeing my sketches and inspirations come to life as I spend every day hand knitting, sewing and pattern cutting, has made 2021 a year of growth and creativity, even though I've been stuck in the house for most of it.
Interning since I was 16, I have always been excited to work and learn about the fashion industry. Working for small brands, usually out of someone's living room or a small studio, I learnt all the ins and outs of running a fashion brand from design and pattern cutting to how to create an engaging social media presence that relates to your customer.
Now that I am coming to the end of my studies, I am eager to work for a brand where I can learn more about industrial knitting, textiles and print design. I'm a fast learner, curious, hardworking and always bring a positive energy to my work.
