About me
I'm a designer and art director with 10 years experience working on and managing creative projects, in agencies and the board gaming industry. My work always combines a seriousness of approach with a desire for fun - corporate messages work best with a spark of joy, and games need to be taken seriously to come together well.
I take pride in creating work that is visually arresting, user-focused and concept-led, being comfortable working across print, digital, animation and user experience design (primarily in physical media).
Work is always at its best when considered and analysed from every angle, and I work to achieve this by in-depth questioning of any problem, taking in as many view points as can be found and maintaining excellent personal communication skills and a constant desire to improve things in any way I can - processes, briefings, workflow, delivery dates, customer happiness and, of course, finished products.
I thrive under pressure and I'm well-used to working in environments where multiple projects are underway at any given time, and whose priorities can shift at any moment.
I have an eye for detail and a genuine passion for making work that captures the audience's imagination. I love leading, mentoring and building teams that work towards those goals, as well as working alongside and managing and directing other designers, animators, editors, artists, and copywriters.
