About me

For as long as I can remember, traveling has been a large part of my life. As I grew into adulthood, my thirst for traveling did also. From a very young age I have revised my options in finding an ideal and fulfilling career which would take me around the world. From as young as seventeen, I have taken opportunities which have been given to me as well as those that I have found myself. This has sometimes led me to leave my home country of England to work and travel within Europe and Asia. My traveling style usually involves me being 'on my lonesome' as I found it enabled me to make my own choices freely. I have taken the liberty to document my travels though the media of photography and find it enormously rewarding to exhibit and discuss the photos that I have taken.

There is one photographer whom I find has inspired me a great deal over the years - Sebastian Salgado. I have extensively looked into his work and thus become a great admirer of it and which has resulted in me displaying his work around my home. I first discovered his work when I was fourteen and I believe he has been my biggest inspiration in wanting to become a successful Travel Photographer and Photojournalist. Now, on my showcase wall, Sebastian's work sits alongside that of Yan Arthus Bertand and Gregory Crewdson. It is these three photographers which I feel; fuel my ambitions to become a photographer with, hopefully as much talent and public recognition to match theirs.
