Dear Sir/Madam,

I saw the posting for your Middleweight Branding and Packaging Designer vacancy and would like to be considered for the role as I believe my skills and experience make me an ideal candidate for this position.

I am a self-taught Graphic Designer and Art Director. My main specialities lie in project management for branding and identity.

I have worked in a variety of different roles in my career. Starting out as a sign-maker for a studio in Twickenham, I was then hired as an Art Director for an exclusive closed-doors event for Warner Brothers. I also designed and manufactured all of the national branding for Jameson Irish Whiskey's "Jameson Cult Film Club" over a three year period. I also run my own apparel line which has pushed me to hone my skills not only in fashion design but also web design and e-commerce.

I have worked in a position of seniority for the majority of my career. I have an inspiring leadership style working either with colleagues within the company or contractors brought in for a particular project. Very much a people person, I am often working in a client-facing capacity, and am just as at ease directing models and crew at a photo shoot, pitching to a board of directors or simply in the workshop with the lads manufacturing print and graphics.

I'm truly passionate about good creative, with a razor-sharp eye for detail. I pay as much attention to the small details as I do the big-picture and always aim for the highest standards in everything I do.
