About me

I'm a freelance illustrator from Shropshire, United Kingdom. My job consists of taking real life stories and using simplified imagery to interpret them into a visual format. The flat colours and metaphoric devices present in my work are the result of a refinement process that aims to include only relevant visual aides to communicate the message to the viewer as quickly as possible, an approach developed whilst studying illustration at the University of Derby. Although I'm happy to apply this way of working to any project I find it is particularly well suited to the editorial market where I've had great fun working on assignments since October 2011.
