About me
I am a graphic designer living in Bosham and I am soon to be made redundant as, despite my best efforts and considerable success, the company I am currently working for is going under.
This is a positive thing as I felt my time at the company was coming to an end anyway as I had stopped learning new skills, there was nowhere to progress to and nothing to challenge me.
My current job working for one of the South's leading sign companies, has allowed me to learn about client interaction, managing numerous tasks and prioritising effectively. I have a excellent understanding of manufacturing processes, working at pace and within corporate specifications. I also revel in taking a small business and giving the owner its identity; providing a versatile brand that can be implemented across their work with clever tools of communication.
A company or studio that deal in providing a complete design service from taking briefs to providing material for manufacture is very appealing. I am currently the only designer at my company, I make all design decisions and enjoy a lot of independence and responsibility whilst having zero margin for error. I often feel I can bring something valuable to the table in meetings with creativity, flair, ingenuity and common sense. I want to work hard, do my job well and to improve as quickly as possible.
I like to contribute to creating a positive working environment. Whilst I am very open and straight with my views on work and design I am always polite and tactful. I get very involved in work, am always willing to work extra hours to meet deadlines, am very determined and love working closely with clients. I speak conversational French and believe myself to be a good poof reader!
I work best when confident.
I have recently rebranded New Park Centre Chichester and Kendall (Aggregates and Ready Made Concrete). I have designed for Gunwharf Quays, Southampton Airport, Lakeside North Harbour, Bowlplex, Wightlink Ferries, Royal Canin & James Wellbeloved, Marriot, Edwards Global Technology, GB Paralympic team, Gumpak, Biffa, Babcock, BAE Systems, Villeroy & Boch, Viners, Fire & Stone, Loch Fyne, Pall Europe and Portsmouth Guildhall.
