About me
My numerous jobs in offices have given me adequate knowledge of working in an office environment and realise the expectations that large companies request of their staff. I am able to clearly communicate and relate to colleagues and customers in an outgoing and confident manner whilst always acting with initiative and integrity. Couple these innate qualities with my fast learning curve, organizational, I.T, and people skills learnt through education, travel and work experience I believe I am the ideal candidate for the job. I briefly done work experience at Channel 4 and have an idea of how media companies operate. In my personal time I perform as a stand-up comedian around London and Southampton. I also work as a music director on the side for London based Hip-Hop acts. So far I have had two videos on Channel U and MTV Base. I have made a small collection of short films that have been shown at various small festivals around London and the South Coast. Finally, I have made promotional videos for the Kier Group in conjunction with Islington Council. Through this I have gained the ability to speak my mind and not be embarrassed about speaking in public. I have also recorded live shows for my current employer Portland TV, and through this have found more camera work with small production companies.I have also done volunteer work throughout North London helping teenagers on the estates to realise their potential and that an education is very important. Also, my dissertation I wrote for my BA has recently been published on the rise of the comic book film in a post 9/11 America.
