About me

I am currently looking for work in London, and I am looking for work as a Graphic Designer. I have worked full-time as a graphic designer for the past 3 years mostly at 2 different jobs in Australia and I have a BA in Design & Marketing ( I hold an EU Swedish passport and speak english as my primary language). I have worked on both PC and Mac platforms using Indesign (previously used Quark but not recently), Illustrator, Photoshop and Dreamweaver for web updates. Both the companies were small with less than 6 employees, which means that I have experience in handling all stages of a design job from initial client contact through to concept development and final print.

My main area of expertise is in print design where I have worked on everything from logos and company identities, package design, large format printing on buildings, cars and trucks, flyers and catalogues. I also have some experience at creating website layouts/design and basic HTML updates of existing websites. I am quite capable of maintaining software and hardware on the computers I use if necessary, in both PC and Mac systems.

I have a keen interest in photography as a hobby and have used my own photos in my work and taken photos for clients during photo shoots. This has been useful as I have developed better skills in Photoshop to manipulate and correct images for commercial use and have an understanding of what can be achieved within photography especially with limited budgets.
