About me

Whilst I don't have a university degree, a stint employed at a prestigious studio or any awards to speak of, I do have honesty and an unrelenting passion for sound and the techniques used to create it. I've studied and practiced these since 2005. In that time I have been trusted by many wonderful film makers, agencies, brands and artists to bring my energy and focus to their projects. I've consistently invested in my tools and knowledge, refining my workflow, building a large sample library and virtual instrument set and drawing inspiration and amazing support from my peers.

Working from my home studio based in rural Devon, I have the facilities to work on professional film, record instrumentation and when it's safe to, work closely with talented musicians to create quality music cues and landscapes. As well as learning on the job, I've completed online tuition in classical composing, mixing, mastering, surround sound and ambisonic VR audio and currently pursuing a course in Wwise spatial audio to progress my abilities in sound propagation.

I established Wavetale with the desire to grow and look forward to be a place to support and license other artists work, build a team of composers and sound designers and construct a dedicated studio for larger productions.
