About me

Photography is for me like Cartier-Bresson already said that is put heart, eye and mind in the same line. I have photographed since 2002, started in one Wedding and Fashion Studio, what gave a experience in this kind of event. Studying in one of the best University of Art-Communication of Brazil, between 2000 and 2005, I could developed my skills and understand the photography more than a technician skills, but a language that has a lot to say.

From 2003 to 2005 I worked for one Production Company called Platina Culture Events, which organized a lot of folk dance and music in Bahia countryside. I photographed the events as a photo reportage. Meanwhile, I was in touch with sports events, which was the subject of my main work called VO 3 The Triathlon Image. With 18 works selected from this work, I did my first individual exhibition in 2005. At the same year, the photography book called "Domingueiras" was launched as a result of my images and two more fellows.

Between 2002 to 2007, before came to London, I had been in touck with the Photographic Institute called Casa da Photographia (The Photography House), where I did three photographic course assistant and participated in many collective exhibitions.

I`m very keen on to work with sports, documentary, journalism, still, and design photo in London, Edinburgh or Rome
