About me

I am a digital designer and a creative with seven years' professional experience. I also explore Critical Design as a practitioner.

After graduating in design from the University of Aveiro, I gained experience as a digital and visual designer in Barcelona and later in Lisbon as an art director. London has been my home for the past six years, allowing me to grow as a professional, assuming leading roles in creative agencies and studios, working for brands such as Sony, L'Oreal, Gillette, Nike and Mizuno.

I have recently concluded with distinction an MA in the Design Interactions program at the Royal College of Art. This combined with my professional experience has enabled me to develop a strong understanding of the dinamics between technologies and the human race. From here, I have started to develop my own practice, exploring the posthuman body, as a means to reflect upon its relation to emerging technologies, (im)probable futures and utopian or dystopian scenarios.
