About me

I am a producer, scriptwriter, production assistant. I am an excellent communicator, enthusiastic and energetic. I have a passion for visual storytelling, which is the basis of everything I do.

I worked as executive producer (casting) and as a 2nd AD (on-set) on "Swallow Your Dreams" and as a producer (post-production) on another short, "Quarantine and Chill".

When "Swallow Your Dreams" was filmed in Liverpool in March 2021, I worked as 2nd AD co-ordinating extras and sorting out problems as they arose.

Dan Sloan (Director, The Last Film Company, "Swallow Your Dreams") called me "hardworking and willing to go the extra distance, with an upbeat attitude".

I love to get to talk to people; and the practical business of turning an idea from a script into a reality.

I believe that I am patient and courteous but also determined and persistent.

For "Swallow Your Dreams", I wrote to 40 actors' agents before finding Paul McGann ("Dr Who") and Amy Bailey ("Vikings") and the composer Ben Woodgates.

I graduated in July 2020 with a 2:1 from Goldsmiths College, University of London, in English and Creative Writing.

Immediately before I graduated, I founded a weekly scriptwriting event which I show via Zoom to scriptwriters in the UK and the USA, on the London Screenwriters Festival Facebook pages. We are now in our sixteenth month.

I write all of my own promos for this event and attract a range of guest speakers. These have included Jonathan Myerson (BBC Radio 4), Sean Keller (Hulu), Marc Delescure (YouTube's "The Beauty of...") and Abbie Andrews ("Tsar").

I believe that I have the kind of outgoing personality and interpersonal strengths which convinces my scriptwriting audience to keep returning.

I also arranged for Tijuana Ricks ('Jessica Jones') and Eddie Jackson ('Game of Thrones') to take part in a table-read on Facebook, performing a series of extracts.

I knew that looking outside the UK would mean familiarising myself with new agencies, but the results amply rewarded the additional effort.

I can travel easily into London but would be willing to relocate further afield if required.

Abbie (Andrews) has called me 'the most proactive person' she knows. I take that as a compliment - and I strive to do even better!
