About me
I'm a wig and hairpiece designer, coupling time honoured skills, with an enthusiasm and excitement for hair weaving and knotting. I set up The Posticherie as a way to experiment and collaborate within hair design.
With over 14 years in the industry, I have made hair pieces for films including Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1 & 2, Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland, and TV shows such as Outlander, Game of Thrones and House of The Dragon. I have skills and knowledge in many aspects of hair, gained through dressing wigs in London's West End, assisting on campaigns for Toni & Guy and Town & Country Magazine, as well as backstage at London Fashion Week for Vivienne Westwood and Sophia Webster.
My interest in creating larger scale, sculptural pieces and wig cages, has allowed me to explore different processes and work together with clients on commissions for music promos, editorial fashion shoots and national as well as international theatre tours.
