ABOUT
I shoot my Hasselblad Xpan as an 'outdoor-locations' camera primarily. I find the XPan more a hassle (pun intended) than a pleasure to shoot with –it is a bit of a nuisance because the viewfinder is an approximate frame. The final handprint is where the reward 'comes-to-life'. The XPan demands previsualization and clear intent –this challenge is why I have grown fond of my XPan; she wants my undivided attention...
(Digital Scans of selected film negs were mastered by John Rivett, "MasterPrint", Cape Town. South Africa.
