About me

I am a interdisciplinary artist with a diverse creative background and education. I've worked in each field for over a decade (film, art, design & photography). I started out wanting to simply draw & paint, but life had other ideas for me.

I have taught art, design, film and Adobe software within the higher education systems. This is where I feel that the creative knowledge and experience has been able to permeate. It is one thing to know something and another to teach and help students sow and cultivate that knowledge. I've taught at Broadview Entertainment Arts University, The Art Institute of Salt Lake City, California State University - Los Angeles, Glendale Community College and Art Center.



I'm an alumni of Art Center College of Design and Ricks College (BYUI). I value the training and experiences I've obtained from these educational institutions. I've integrated the critical thinking, technical skills, discipline, pursuit of quality, and an appreciation for the importance of exceeding expectations.

Something different about me is that I grew up in different parts of the world, because of my father's career. Besides living in several states in the USA, I've lived in Germany, Republic of Panama and Mexico.
