About me
Teresa Rego, born in Porto, Portugal in 1991.
Master Degree in Architecture in Universidade do Minho, Guimarães, Portugal.
Last year of the Master in Maribor, Slovenia.
In 2015 moved to London where is currently studying Master degree in illustration at UAL, Camberwell College of Arts, London. In 2017 has participated in Venice Biennale with Its Liquid group. Exhibition Botanicals at Studio 73 Art Gallery in London. 1st Prize Christmas postcard competition UAL 2017. In Interview by NY Arte Institute about her exhibition at Rolling Stock London, and also for Catalan TV about an exhibition space in Maribor, Slovenia. Design and Branding In London restaurants in Shoreditch and Dalston.
Has been exhibiting regularly in Portugal since 2012 where has won the 1st prize of Illustration competition "do Bira ao Samba" in Braga, Portugal, honourable mention in Portuguese Illustration Competition, and participated in solo shows in Porto and Lisbon.
Wall Art is also part of her work. In 2015 Teresa has illustrated a room at Gallery Home Guesthouse, Pousada das Almas caffe in Porto and Pico Radio Station in Azores. In London there are already 2 restaurants that opened in 2016 and 2017 that are entirely designed and decorated with the illustrations of Teresa Rego.
