Dear HR Manager,
I am writing in application for the SEO Copywriter position advertised on the Creative Pool website.
I have a BA in Journalism and 25 years experience in writing, proofreading, and project management. In my role as Communication Specialist at K-Products, I was the Marketing Copywriter, company proof reader and print project coordinator. At AlphaGraphics, my responsibilities included proofreading and project management of all work prior to printing. I have also been a magazine writer/editor and a newspaper reporter. Currently, I write announcements, ads and magazine articles for a local radio station as a volunteer. My extensive background in writing, marketing and media means I can write to any target market, in any style, and under deadline.
I am currently employed by Serco in the Payment Queries/CCA06 department and have been employed at Aintree since May 2008. This means I am familiar with Shop Direct, its brands and philosophy. I have used my writing skills on the company intranet and as Co-Chairperson of the Environmental Committee.
