About me

The reasons why I am applying for this job are the same reasons that lead me to London in order to take a BA in Film Studies, which I recently finished. Since an early age, is has been my ambition to involved in production. I am interested in everything evolving audiovisual communication, exploring a wider context that would allow me to better understand the concept of globalization in film and television industry. With this position, I would have the opportunity to work in a very different environment, meeting people who share the same passion as me, as well as experiencing new perspectives of life itself that would fulfill me personally, and professionally.

Living on the Portuguese Island Madeira, whose population hangs around the 260,000 habitants mark, it would be fairly impossible to dream of a career in Cinema and Television. Therefore evidently I started to explore my options abroad in order to achieve my goals. However, as everything in life, nothing is achieved without hard work and some luck; both of which will help propel me greatly. I am currently trying to get experience in the industry, seeking interaction with people in this new environment, gaining knowledge that can be useful in the future. It is one of my dreams working for you. Therefore I hope you consider my application as I guarantee I will commit to every task you assign me to. I will do my best not to disappoint you in any way.
