In 2022, Teguan got her start in journalism as an editorial intern at Thesocialtalks while studying English Literature at Coventry University, where she edited articles for journalists and provided helpful feedback. While studying towards her degree, she also became a student at the Financial Times News School, where she networked with professionals and learned more about the news business, opening doors for her once she received her English Literature degree. She also became curious about other opportunities, and is enthusiastic about exploring other industries such as public relations, publishing, marketing, and TV and film.
In her three years in the journalism industry, Teguan's achievements include scaling over 200k reads and sessions on her articles, breaking huge reality TV and sports news, and gaining a traction of loyal readership thanks to her effective SEO strategies. Her skillset that sets her apart from other writers also includes being a reliable writer who meets deadlines on time, taking initiative, thinking creatively and strategically, and writing with intention.
