About me

I am a UK-based Junior UX Designer with a background in public service, having spent over 12 years working within government as a Work Coach and Case Manager. Throughout that time, my work has always centred on people — listening carefully, understanding their challenges, and helping to improve how services work for them.

My interest in UX design grew naturally from this. I wanted to move beyond supporting people within existing systems and start contributing to the design of better experiences in the first place. I have completed several UX design projects, where I've worked through the full design process, from user research and problem definition to wireframes, testing, and iteration.

Although I am at an early stage in my UX career, I bring a strong sense of responsibility, professionalism, and real-world understanding of users. Interested in commercial and digital products that are practical, accessible, and genuinely useful, rather than design for design's sake.

I am searching for a junior or entry-level UX role, including remote opportunities, where I can continue learning, work alongside experienced designers, and contribute thoughtfully to a team. I value clear communication, steady progress, and doing things properly.
