About me
My name is Taylor Dempsey-Woolner, I am a 2D VFX artist and have copious amounts of freelance work and begun my experience as a Runner and Roto artist from Double Negative. I have a strong passion for Visual Effects and because of this am also a highly skilled editor, understanding narrative form and the importance to "trim the fat" so to speak. I am proficient in the entire Adobe Suite as well as NUKE, Silhouette, Mocha, PF Track, Maya, Boujou and Final Cut.
I graduated from the University of South Wales having studied BA Visual Effects and Motion Graphics in 2014. After leaving University I did some freelance work for 422 South in Bristol and MMMultiply in London. Working on professional pieces of work including shows for Channel 4 and Promos for FOX. I then left and started working at Double Negative as a runner. After being a runner at Double Negative since November 2014, I then became a Roto artist with Double Negative.
I am now a Freelance 2D artist having done work with Brewery VFX and Analog Studios and am currently working at a Primary School with a Centre for Deaf children looking to get back into VFX and retouching.
I would relish the opportunity to work at your company as not only do I have a lot of skills that your studio could benefit from having working in Film for the Industry, I also am able to transfer many of these skills to print and many forms of advertising.
I will be free from my responsibilities at my current employer come July, this year, or sooner can be negotiated.
