Hope this email finds you well.

I am writing to you with regards to the job vacancy available as a freelance copywriter. I have recently graduated

with a Joint Honours bachelor's degree in Journalism and Psychology from Kingston University,

London. During my undergraduate course I gained a great amount of work-experience in the field of

journalism and copywriting and I understood that my passion for writing lies in fashion, beauty and lifestyle. I recently completed a two-month internship at VOGUE India, where I worked with the

Fashion features department. Along with the internship, I was also hired as a freelance writer and a

co-editorial assistant for the September issue supplement- The Vogue Wedding book. Having a journalism background I am informed on the various tones in writing, therefore I would be able to capture a range of styles and provide for any copy- be it entertaining, informative or narrative.

Extremely hard-working, efficient and organised by nature, I am driven to give any task my 100 per

cent and make sure it is completed to the best of my ability. Being features editor for Kingston University's student run newspaper, 'The River', taught me to work under immense pressure, manage my time and meet deadlines. I usually take on challenges with a smile, as I believe crossing over my comfort zone is the only way I will learn and grow. My strength lies in my eye for detail in the language and my passion for fashion and retail.
