About me

Dear Sir/Madam,

My name is Tara Munroe; I have recently graduated gaining a BA Honours 2.1 in Design Management and Innovation. I hope to relocate to the South of England when successful in finding a job.

Over the last three years while studying at Demontfort University, I have developed an understanding of all design techniques and business management theories. I have been taught to be media neutral and have covered all forms of design procedures, and business development as regards to theories and analysis of consumer behaviours and market trends. I have an excellent knowledge of Photoshop, Quark and Illustrator, so am able to provide visual concepts to develop a final outcome.

I understand the theory of why design is needed and how it could benefit the business environment. I'm able to implement design effectively, in a fully researched and strategically planned way. I'm a strong team player, which is able to work to deadlines in hands-on environment. I'm a ambitious, enthusiastic individual, with excellent time management and organisation skills. I am able to communicate on all levels.

Before entering university in 2003 I ran my own retail Children's Clothing Boutique for five years and worked within various customer services departments of national call centres, working my way up to management level. These positions gave me invaluable administration and managerial experience.

I feel these qualities will enable me to become an asset to an innovative company that is willing to use design to benefit the business procedures.
