Tara Foster

Good morning,

I am a copywriter from Cape Town, South Africa relocating to London. I have a British Passport and have lived in the capital previously so am familiar with the city and culture. Your ad caught my eye because as a typical girl I adore all things fashion, beauty and style related. I in fact studied fashion design for 6 months after completing school but found I was better at the theory and drawing than sewing and so moved into advertising.

My experience and skills are as follows:

- Three years ad agency experience. My first year in the industry was spent working on Spur and Panarottis (International Restaurants) in-store material, print ads, CSI / charity articles, press releases, kids club magazine content and proofreading of all the above as well as the local and international menus. Admittedly, it was not very glamorous work but gave me a good grounding in the industry.

I then moved to Herdbuoys eKapa where I spent two years working on a variety of brands, from wine to baby food and sports apparel, both ATL and BTL - print, online radio and TV campaigns.

- I possess strong conceptual and problem-solving (what advertising is!) skills and can come up with solutions to clients' briefs quickly using both creativity and logic.

- I have a curious mind and vivid imagination.

- Keen and consistent attention to detail.

- Good work ethic and a desire to excel.

- I am passionate about the digital medium and am an avid blogger in my spare time.
