About me
I'm an aspiring director by night and a resourceful and resilient direction or production department crew member by day. I get a kick out of getting things done efficiently and am inspired most by people and their complexities.
My varied career was a deliberate choice to understand every aspect of filmmaking, making me a stronger director and producer. From working on method acting studio productions to hurling 100s of extras at a busy Mumbai train station, I've had a thrill until- I realized the challenges faced by female directors in the Indian film industry. After giving up my dream because of it, and then realising how much I missed it, I've now returned to the UK, thirsty to work on as many productions as I can, as I develop a slate of character driven films as a director.
I also advocate for and support women in film, an obvious route to take all things considered.
