About me

I am currently working at the Royal College of General Practitioners in the journal department. Here I play a number of different roles, from PA to deputy assistant editor. I feel that I have reached saturation point in this current role and am looking to forward my career down a more creative path.

My current job requires me to type set varying editorial pieces from short colloquial essays to scientific research papers. I am very succinct and thorough with all my correspondence as I work very closely with authors, reviewers and freelancers. Along with type setting I also create graphs, diagrams and tables that have to be done to the highest of standards as all the data is referenced and used in the medical industry.

I have recently taken on a small advertising role producing both quarter and half page ads in the back section of the journal. As I am very keen to forward my career I have recently completed an advance QuarkXPress course and am attending an advanced Photoshop course this week.
