About me

To whom it may concern,

I am a young and enthusiastic designer with a background in Greetings cards and Textiles. I have designed at Hallmark Cards and currently work for International Greetings as a Mac Designer on the Christmas cracker team.

I was awarded a first class honours degree from DeMontfort University in Mixed Media Textile Design, where I created wallpapers for my final collection. All these experiences have taught me to be a versatile, trend driven and most importantly commercial designer.

I am looking to further my career in design and hope one day to progress to management.

My design interests lie in Greetings, Textiles, Wallpapers and soft furnishings.

I have excellent Mac and PC Skills using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and In Design. I also have basic knowledge of Dream weaver and Mapper.

I enclose a copy of my CV which concentrates on being creatively distinctive yet commercially relevant, an important skill I have learnt. All my work experience has enabled me to develop self motivation, team organisation and excellent communication skills.

Key qualities which I hope to bring to your company include commerciality, versatility and a contemporary textile design approach. I also have the ability to explain my thoughts and ideas clearly and persuasively.
