About me
Two words sum up Swati Bhattacharya's view on life, work and advertising - Hope and Inclusivity.
The advertising world has long been about creating desire, aspirational identities that consume to stand out. Today, a new consciousness is emerging in the world , people are waking up to the realization that we have more in common with each other , than we have to separate us. What will take the industry forward are brands that enable deeper human connections. Brands built on enduring human values in touch with consumer aspirations that don't seek to divide , but are looking for a sense of belonging and a better tomorrow to look forward to . No one captures this zeitgeist better than Swati . Be it in her work, in her life or at her work place her philosophy is to tap into that higher truth - that when we get together, we are stronger, better , and therefore more hopeful of the future ahead.
She is a model of women leadership that is rare - one that doesn't copy a male leadership model, but bravely leans into the strengths a woman brings with her ideas of inclusivity, sisterhood and a holistic intelligence that combines the emotional nuance of the human condition as well as business acumen .
.Swati Bhattacharya takes emotional storytelling for brands to a level where they break free from the constrains of media, formats, platforms, and speak to consumers as ideas that make an impact to their lives. Start with the consumer, she says, as the only reason why brands exist, is because they serve a human need. Her ideas reflect the deep conviction that it is the "responsibility of brands to inspire people to create the kind of world they deserve"
Which is why her work has transformed FCB India's creative reputation making it the No. 1 most awarded Indian Agency. Making her the No1. awarded Creative Director in India (Campaign Brief Asia ranking 2021) and FCB India the No.1 agency in India and No 5 in the APAC region.
She is the Cannes "See it, Be it" ambassador in 2022. She is on the international board of One Show2022. She has also been named to 'Adweek Creative 100' for 2021!
