About me

As a professional copywriter, I'm passionate about connecting people through the power of words.

I started out at Saga plc (an iconic British company that specialises in services for the over 50s) writing direct-response brochures, ads, sales letters and so on before crossing over to content management, writing multichannel content. I have to say that I loved working for Saga (the people, the product, the place) which is why I was there for nearly 20 years in total.

However, all that travel research led to me packing up and moving to the other side of the world. It was a brave, scary, thrilling and challenging thing to do with two kids and no connections. Two-and-half years later and I'm proud to call New Zealand home. I've made some amazing friends and done things I never thought I would, like setting up my own freelance writing business and eating pavlova.
