About me

I am a Photographer and Film producer, graduating with a bachelor of arts in Media Production (2:1). I have focused my degree around cinematography, and fashion film direction, fashion photography and portraiture, communication, set design, styling for film and fashion photography and video, and image editing.

I have applied for this role, as Assistant Art Director for Burberry, as it is a perfect convergence of my skills in art direction, and with my background in fashion film and photography. I have always had an interest in fashion, and advertising high end brands, and am highly inspired by short promotional trend films, from across the board of fashion houses and designing teams. I am constantly researching new trends and up and coming designers, and I think it is important for fashion to be branching into different forms of advertising, multimedia platforms such as eye catching fashion web video content create a buzz around new trends, and set a tone for the brands.

Adding video content such as dramatizations of the seasons trends are a very visual way of making runway shows enhance the audience experience. Using digital platforms are a fantastic opportunity to produce creative and innovative ambience to a brands trend.

I think I would be a perfect candidate for the role as Burberrys assistant art director because I have a lot of creative vision, and with my technical skills, I think I could bring a lot to the company. I think it would be an exciting, and challenging role, and I would absolutely love to be considered.

I am used to using a range of video and stills cameras, and at the moment am filming on Canon 5D, JVC 700, and T3I. I edit on Final cut pro, Photoshop, light room, illustrator, and flash and have experience with most adobe design software, as well as all standard Microsoft applications.
