About me
I want to achieve every goal that I am set out to do by working on time and doing it quickly and efficiently. I will gain as much experience as I can by learning from others and focusing on what I am set out to do. To achieve this I know I must relish the challenges I face and be eager to develop my career by combining my enthusiasm with key competencies that I have so far gained through my degree and work experience. The skills I have gained throughout my career will help me proceed to the next step to the busy environment I'm eager to be in.
Having completed a three year degree at Middlesex University studying Inclusive Performing Arts. I was able to gain and build upon my communication skills, presentational skills and most importantly ability to work well independently and within a cast. I say cast as although we were technically a team, cast members, I feel, are stronger. We don't just work together to create something but we share in every aspect surrounding the idea from late nights, to supporting each other both mentally physically and emotionally. A cast is more of a family. When you have a cast of 20 students and only 4 months to create a play from scratch, you have to be an excellent team player, communicator, and extremely hard working. Whilst at university, I had the opportunity to lead workshops catering to both adults and children. This is where I developed my presentation and leadership skills
When it comes to my work experience I've had roles in hospitality, retail and in events environments in which I gave my highest level of customer service. In my current role at Bridelux, I ensure to maintain positivity and enthusiasm to aid in providing excellent service standards. In my most recent role, I learned to absorb information quickly. The role involves a lot of tasking and upon starting, I hit the ground running. Tasks such as; booking, modifying, brand awareness, learning to use various software unique to the company I work for, attending meetings with clients. Being in the wedding industry has taught me to have a keen eye and identify and rectify the mistake as soon as possible and keeping up-to-date with the luxury market and trends.
If I had to say something about my personality it would be that I'm an outgoing and enthusiastic person who is extremely motivated and willing to get 'stuck in'. Add to this my drive and enthusiasm, I believe I can make a positive impact. I am confident that my passion and knowledge will be an asset to any role.
