About me

My name is Su Hallows.

I would really love to use my ability to design and run a team for a worth while job of real importance by this I mean charities, gardening magazines, animal magazines, baby magazine, product design.I am trying to keep away from celebrity and gossip magazines.

I have been in this industry for ten years. I have a very varied portfolio of work, ranging from corporate POS design through to a vast range of magazines. I am hugely creative, pay strong attention to detail and am very self motivated. I have directed photo shoots for covers and different pages within various magazines, have experience in commissioning photographers, stylists and illustrators and I am used to working within tight budgets.

I have a thorough knowledge of Indesign, Quark, Illustrator and Photoshop. Strong painting and drawing skills, which has come in useful on a number of magazines I have worked on.
