Thank you for considering my application to work with Made.com. I was delighted to come across your advertisement as I regularly receive your newsletter and browse at your furnishings and accessories with longing.
I am a university graduate and have been working as a freelance writer for three years in both print and online. I have excellent research skills and always try to work in a collaborative, feedback and research-based fashion so that I can deliver work in the style and tone that is most appropriate. However, I can also work on my own initiative. Due to my experience in freelancing I am highly organized, with excellent time-management and project management skills.
I am also well used to working with a variety of different people. My background in self-training and research has made me an extremely quick learner and I enjoy expanding my skills base. I am a creative and visual person and understand the importance of design and imagery both on and offline. My experience with online work has made me well-aware of the importance and limitations of the use of keywords and SEO and so I always work to include these elements naturally and organically within my work.
When it comes to my portfolio, I conduct much of my work as a ghost-writer. However, I recently wrote the product pages, about page and story page for LondonSofaBed.co.uk to the client's specifications. (*)
