About me
My name is Susan Wilson and I am 22.
I have 9 GCSE's including and A* in art and English language and an A in English literature.
I also have 2 A levels and 2 AS levels including and A in art and a B in Religious Education and Philosophy.
I also did an Art and Design foundation course at Coventry University.
From here I chose a degree in Transport and Product Design at Coventry University which I have recently completed (awaiting results).
For my final year project, I designed a sensory impairment room for Rushton Hall School so for the past year have been focusing on special needs toys, the needs of disabled children and colour psychology. I also took on a smaller project entitled 'Sofa in the style of human form' so I have been practising a lot of life drawing, illustration and studying anatomy as well as construction techniques and materials.
Towards the end of the last year, I had a lot of experience with graphic design when designing presentations and banners to promote my work. I have excellent PhotoShop and PowerPoint skills and I have a basic understanding of alias and image studio.
I have had a lot of experience with ergonomics and I have an excellent understanding of it. I very much enjoy applying it within my work and I feel it is a very important part of a design project.
In my spare time I like to stay active, as I feel this keeps me motivated. I particularly enjoy running and recently took part in the Lady Godiva half marathon.
