About me

Over the past few years, prior to my current employment as a Media Facilitator, at SEEVIC College, I had gained much experience whilst working as a Media Designer and a Sales Advisor. The skills and abilities which I had acquired through those positions have allowed me to adapt them and use them within a teaching environment. My background as a Media Designer has allowed me to bring first hand experience and knowledge of the industry as well as techniques to the Media Department at SEEVIC College. Whilst my experience as a Sales Advisor has allowed me to have the confidence to speak and present to an audience and provide detailed information.

I am now looking forward towards advancing my career whereby I can exploit my talents, skills, knowledge and experiences within either a Media and/or Design related role.

I would enjoy working in a role whether it be as an individual, where I would be able to showcase my creations and solution ideas, or within a team, where I would be able to share and input creative ideas and processes with other team members and work towards a set target.

I would also appreciate a position within an established company or an institution where I could share and demonstrate as well as explain creative/thought processes with another individual or a group of people who are enthusiastic about learning how particular products are created and the theory behind their creations.

I am a hard working and willing individual who is always eager to learn new skills. I thrive in challenging positions and I am determined to succeed in everything I do. My creative talents are my biggest asset which I am keen to exploit during any possible situation including providing positive solutions when needed. I have an outgoing personality and I consider myself to be able to fit in within any team/ office environment, and contribute to positive schemes and solutions.

From my attached CV, it can be seen that I am able to adapt my skills and abilities to the desired working environment of different institutions. In addition, I feel that by using my experience from specific market places, along with my knowledge of New Media Technologies, I am able to provide a insight into the workings and functions of the Media Industry, with examples to share. I also feel that from my previous and current employment positions, and through my studies, I have learnt to communicate with people on a high level.
