About me

Dear Recruiters,

I have just recently completed a Masters programme at the University
of the Arts, London. My enjoyment and critical interest in the media
graphic, web design and film) has increased markedly throughout my both
my undergraduate and masters degrees, and has continued to grow since
then.

As a creative practitioner I see myself as a definitive all-rounder.
My work is an intense personal interest and I apply equal respect to
the needs of the project but also towards creativity as a discipline
and cultural form. I keep my mind open to the world to find those
enigmatic elements that can elevate a project to a higher level. I
apply and sense of humour when needed but also a serious sense of focus
towards getting the best results and I function well as a team player.
I am willing to put in as many hours it takes to achieve the desired
goal and not only am I hard working but I am also determined to succeed
at any task put in front of me. I firmly believe that people should
strive to improve themselves in order to be the best that they can
possibly be, and this is crucial to achieving anyone's goals.

I have a strong in depth knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite CS4 and I
am working to improve on these skills as well as my editing skills in
After Effects and Final Cut pro. I am also proficient on both Mac and
PC. In addition I believe I have gained numerous skills to this
vacancy, such as excellent organisational skills, the ability to work
in a high pressure environment and using my own initiative.

I have a monumental in film and branding and this can be seen when I
chose to my dissertation in film distribution and where it's headed in
the future, which had a strong branding element to it. As part of my
written piece I created a practical element where I was required to
distribute a fictional film. I created an ARG similar to the marketing
campaign such as The Dark Knight and District 9 as well as a cinematic
poster. In addition to my dissertation I was required to work within
the Stanley Kubrick archive to develop an artefact. In a group, we
worked on the film 2001: A Space Odyssey using abandoned production
designs and made our final presentations at the BFI.
I have had prior business-to-business experience during my yearlong
placement and my recent internship at POW Digital and as a freelancer
at Revolve-Marketing. My eagerness and motivation to learn new skills
has attracted me to the media industry, as there is always the
opportunity to learn new skills whether it is technology based or
interpersonal skills.

I therefore believe that I have the necessary skills and attributes,
as listed in my CV, to match your requirements.

Regards

Sunny Bhogal
