Suma is a highly creative individual with extensive leadership skills and highly competitive technical skills. She is a LEED Green Associate with more than 4 years of professional experience as a registered Architect and Landscape Architect from India who is genuinely passionate about sustainable design practices.
To enhance her leadership acumen and technical knowledge about the integration of various urban systems and its complexities in urban planning and designing sector, she did her post-graduate studies in Master of Engineering Leadership - specialized in Urban Systems at The University of British Columbia (UBC) in Vancouver (2017).
Prior to that, she has completed her post-graduate studies in Landscape Architecture from School of Architecture & Planning (SAP), Anna University () in India with a focus on opportunities for vertical gardens and sustainable landscaping practices in the urban fabric.
Her diverse knowledge and experience in architecture, landscape practices, integration of different urban systems into design have helped her to develop as an efficient multi-disciplinary designer who can understand the complexities and design according to the needs of smarter cities of tomorrow.
She has experience in all aspects of design development, schematic design to completion phases, technical drawings, detailing, construction documents and selection of procurement modes.
Suma completed her postgraduate courses with high distinction and is currently interested in opportunities to succeed and grow professionally; to follow her passion in the field of improving urban sustainability and livability through innovative design practices.
