Suddaf's work

I have worked as a journalist in China, which gave me the platform to publish pieces based upon the rapid development of the Chinese state. I published articles on the Olympics, and the multifaceted Chinese business environment, and many other pieces based upon current affairs. This experience allowed me to enhance my knowledge on areas of publishing, governmental affairs in reference to the extensive growth in the eastern sphere. Furthermore, this experience allowed me to augment my editorial skills, in conjunction with understanding the varying factors that one faces whilst working in a pressurized environment of a daily journal.I am very much interested in enhancing my ardour for the exigent sphere of politics. I have acquired a strong familiarity with International Relations and also British politics, through lobbying and producing information for various briefs. I am organised, and possess a proactive approach to deliver independent work within a team. I am able to get on top of a brief quickly and adopt the knowledge required in relation to the task in question. I prioritise tasks to achieve my goals, and manage my time effectively through planning. I have the ability to write concisely, accurately and appropriately for any median. I take responsibility for my own actions and deliver my commitments to the team. I share information, knowledge and ideas on best practice with my team and others. I am able to identify and use various sources of evidence, interpret it to understand how relevant and valid it is, in order to make sure my decision-making helps increase performance and success.I would like to transfer my skills into areas of editorial which is a particular interest. I have a strong passion for developmental issues and also matters relating to the defence sphere. My other focus is campaigning for a greater equilibrium in impoverished areas.I have travelled significantly which has allowed me to experience a variety of cultures. As a result I would like to develop upon these foundations, and utilize any opportunity that is brought forward.
