I am applying for this job as I am personally and professionally committed to the field of editing & proofreading as well as the development of global brands by means of multi-platform tools. This position would enable me to work in an area I am passionate about, where I feel I can contribute, and use my experience toward making a difference by ensuring quality to help build and boost the targeted brand.

As is evident from my resume, I have gained significant experience in the area of proofreading and editing with a proven track record of successful project completion. By illustration, in 2010, I planned and launched the bespoke online language services provider *, establishing a dynamic brand that has succeeded in responding to its various clients needs and demands. Currently, I am commissioned by an established London-based SEO company to translate, edit and proofread online and hard-copy text materials in order to help develop this specific brand by means of multi-platform campaigning. Online Analytics tools have shown that these channels have experienced a steady growth in user numbers and popularity ratings have gone up.

My editorial and journalistic tasks naturally require diligence and focus, and in my various professional roles as Proofreader, Project Coordinator, Tutor and Consultant, I have had to prove strong organisational skills, e.g. prioritising tasks, meeting deadlines, working under pressure and using initiative.

Moreover, I am an active member of the UK Society of Editors and Proofreaders (SfEP), and I have achieved an M.A. degree in Journalism, Psychology and Theatre Studies.
