Thinking of the space as a geographical terrain, where the interaction of its inhabitants is constantly shifting, we designed a collection of small furniture that could adapt to these changes. Skupa is a collection of poufs and side tables that when looked from afar, resemble an archipelago. The collection harmoniously combines soft and hard elements. The comfortable, curvy volumes of the upholstered poufs in different dimensions and shapes, combined with the simple outlines of the plywood side table, where the poufs snuggly fit within their main body.There is a potential for creating diverse arrangements using individual pieces or clusters, depending on the requirements of the space.
Skupa collection consists of three typologies, and their elements are designed to be interchangeable to allow for personalisation and maximum flexibility. They work well in clusters and could potentially be a good solution for flexible working environments and airport lounges, where people have to share the space but still want to maintain a sense of “personal space” within it.
A simple and elegant solution that fits aesthetically with residential interiors or flexible working spaces that want to re-create a “home feel” in order to intrigue people back to physical work environments.
