About me

I have had an interest in design throughout my life. I started off my developing the skills I had by doing a BTEC ND in electrical and Mechanical engineering during college. From here, I decided I wanted to develop my sketching and design abilities, choosing to pursue Product Design at University.

University introduced a multitude of new design programmes, and taught me new skills within a design capacity. From learning about programmes such as ProE and Photoshop, i applied these skills and help to teach myself other programmes such as CAD and Solidworks. My time management skills and multi-tasking abilities were also tested, due to having to work to deadlines.

I have also had experience within a professional atmosphere, doing several months of work experience at Imagination. This was in different capacities, once within one of the design times and then also within the model making department. My times at Imagination involved me working within a team and having to work towards completing a project for clients outside Imagination.

Overall my interest and ability in design has lead me to my decision to pursue a career within design.
