Dear Employer,

I am writing to you with regard to your advertised position for a Creative Designer, seen on the Creativepool website.

Having drawn for as long as I can remember and being educated to degree level, I have an extensive background in illustration. I am fond of coupling traditional media and digital techniques, so as to not restrict myself creatively. Am versed in Photoshop and also have experience of Indesign and Illustrator. Even though the past couple of years have seen me working in a more educational capacity, I have still kept up my creative activities in my spare time, doing commissions for friends and the odd bit of freelance work.

Whilst able to work independently, I prefer working in a team as it can create possibilities and ideas that wouldn't have been achieved solo. I have worked in a variety of teams over my employment history, from sales to offices and even in a school environment and have learnt something each time, developing my ability to work effectively in a team regardless of size.

I believe I could bring a fresh perspective to your company and be an asset to your design team with my ability to work under pressure and learn quickly when necessary. In terms of transport I am willing to travel. I own a car and have held a clean license for 6 years now.
