About me
I have 27 years experience in the reprographics trade. The first 4 years were as an apprentice learning scanning, retouching, final film planning and platemaking. After the invention of postscript, this all changed to digital. I was lucky to move into the digital side of things and started at Christies auctioneers, in 1995, as a scanner operator / retoucher. After the leaf back was developed, for cameras, I was put in charge of retouching all digital camera images and I set up a digital workflow. I ended up approximately retouching over 40,000 images a year. I also used Quark to make up the catalogues but this was very sporadic. After leaving Christies in 2007, i temped for a year and really got to know how to hit the ground running working for multiple agencies. I joined ADP in 2008 and have been working on a very diverse range of work, from artworking / retouching to video advertising and web design.
