About me

I have a comprehensive level of IT skills which have been developed through my courses of study and for my own personal satisfaction. I have a good understanding of computer hardware and networking with advanced knowledge in numerous software packages such as: Microsoft Windows 98/XP, Microsoft Office, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, Macromedia Dreamweaver, Flash, Adobe Photoshop, Paint Shop Pro, I am always enthusiastic to discover new software. I obtain a good knowledge in the following programming languages: HTML, CSS, ColdFusion, SQL and I have a good understanding of UML and OO.

I believe team work and organisational skills are the key to success and I have had the opportunity to develop these during my previous jobs and activities where working as part of a team is vital for success. These activities include being a member of Hallam Volunteering where we had to work together to produce a newsletter, in a small space of time. Also participating in team sports such as rugby and rowing.

My role within Hallam Volunteering required me to communicate and interact with vast range of members from the community regularly. Which has given me confidence in my ability of communication and interpersonal skills; these skills have also been developed during previous jobs via interaction with customers on a regular basis.
